Block 1, Week 1: Activity 1

Well my very first task is to send a short message to your tutorial group, telling them two things:

1. Something unusual about yourself

This is hard; I am not sure that there is anything unusual about me, well not to me anyway, maybe to others. I am a solicitor by profession, I work as an Educational Adviser and a Law tutor for the OU, I like to walk, cook, drink g&t, grow my own veg, listen to my daughter sing and play the saxaphone, recite numerous funny (well to me) bits from Bridget Jones, Love Actually and My Big Fat Greek Wedding  and snuggle up on the settee with my new hubby watching the many re-runs on ITV3. If any of that is unusual then there you go…
2. One learning technology (high-tech or low-tech: it could be print) that you enjoy using for work/pleasure, and why.

Not sure it is a learning techonology but I suppose it has to be Facebook; its the only way I can keep track of my daughter!

Can’t wait to see who my cohort for this year are; some familiar faces I hope…
